If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

To fly so I could fly over waves at jaws.

Tell us a little bit about your family… what’s your favourite thing to do together?

My family members are Deveraux, my older sister, and Cambria my younger sister and my mom and dad. We like to travel because we get to be together and we like to go to the beach.

Since December 2017

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Bali (good waves), Fiji (good waves), Tahiti (Cool culture and waves), and New Zealand (good paddling)

What are some of your biggest achievements this year so far?

Taking 3rd place in the 17 and under division at the Olukai Ho’olaule’a, getting first in the SUP race 14 and under division in the Maui Jim Ocean Shootout, getting nominated for the SUP Connect Grom of the Year, and doing the Maui to Molokai.

Aside from SUP, surf and foiling, what other activities do you enjoy doing outside?

OC1 and skateboarding

If you could meet anyone in the world, who would it be?

Ride Teahupoo with Raimana who I hope to meet soon, Foil with Kai Lenny, and ride the Waimea River with Jamie O’Brien.

Who have you been lucky to have met so far?

I feel lucky to have been mentored by Archie Kalepa, famous waterman and head life guard over Maui country for 20 years, who also happens to be a really good foiler. He has a taro patch on Maui. I also recently met Dave and Austin Kalama, Conner Baxter, Zane Schweitzer, and Suzie Cooney)

We saw that you received Kai Lenny’s old short board, that must’ve been an amazing feeling right?

Yeah, I saw it at High Tech and I thought, ‘Wow, that’s cool” and it was actually one of his pipe boards and I was stoked I got it.

Do you have many issues regarding ocean plastics where you live?

Yes, when you go to the beach, there is always plastic that you see, at least one piece.

If you could change anything in the world, what would you change?

That people would realize they are killing the ocean when they use Micro plastics instead of using reusable water bottles and that people would use reef safe ocean sunscreen.

I would also want the kids who are in refugee camps on the other side of the world to have a home and the people who have to walk like 5 miles to get water, that they would have water to drink close to their home.

Who inspires you?

Archie Kalepa, Raimana Van Bastolaer, and Kai Lenny
